Caught In The Act

About two weeks ago I was working in the office by myself because everyone left to run errands, attend meetings, or get lunch for themselves. At the time I was packing "thank you swag bags" for the donors who had given money to benefit the non-profit. Since I was alone I figured I could put on a Pandora station to keep me company. I put on a station and songs that I know very well began playing, so I did what any normal person would do and I started singing very loudly. I was alone, singing very loudly, and organizing the bags when I suddenly could feel another presence in the room. I turned around and everyone who works in the office was standing in the doorway watching me sing really loudly and dance around the room. I was speechless. I just stood their like a deer in headlights while everyone laughed and told me that "it happens to the best of us."

I don't mind being embarrassed in front of people I just want to know whether or not they liked my singing.

  1. Singing loudly and listening to Pandora is one of my favorite things to do. I would't mind doing that all day for my service learning.

  2. I wish i could play an instrument at all, so just being able to do that is impressive. The fact you got caught must have been embarrassing. It does not sound like the people there really cared so that is a good thing.

  3. I've definitely been caught in the act several times, and it can be soo embarrassing! It's always fun to sing and dance to music, so it doesn't really matter anyway! ;) I'm sure they LOVED your singing!!!
